In London’s historic Mayfair neighborhood, legendary nightclub Annabels is beloved for its revelry and whimsy, but its over-the-top design aesthetic is what truly makes it stand apart. When one of our longstanding collaborators, Martin Brudnizki, was tasked with giving the space a refresh, he continued the maximalist mandate, adding his stamp of intriguing opulence to every inch of the historic Georgian townhouse, including the expansive outdoor terrace, a fully realized garden room alive with swaying palms and fitted with wild animal print upholstered banquettes, all under a state-of-the-art retractable glass dome.

For such an imaginative overhaul, no ordinary fixtures would do, so together with Martin, we conjured a multi-faceted lantern rimmed with organic leaf detailing that gently glowed from within. Dubbed the Needles, the highly customizable piece, ideal for elegant exterior spaces, has since evolved into a full family of lights, including a hanging pendant and simplified version that extend its attributes and flair to every area of the home, from dramatic dining spaces to spacious kitchen islands and more, bringing with it all the flights of fancy from which it was originally inspired.
